flying with a baby
got this from a man, his wife, and their 7 month old baby girl. They were sitting behind me on one of my flights last week.
It was bag with some cookies, crackers, crystal light, ear plugs and a couple of other things. It was in a cello bag and tied with curling ribbon and this note:
Hello: my name is Piper from seat 8B. This is my first flight. Please pardon any disruption that I may cause and accept these gifts as a token of my appreciation for your understanding. I will do my best to be a pleasant travel companion, and keep my parents quiet so you can enjoy your flight.
Happy travels and safe skies:
Piper.
Isn't that a cute idea? Didn't hear a peep out of that baby the whole trip.

I was on a flight with a screaming baby. She was congested which didn't help her ears at all. Asked the mother if she had meds for the baby. yeah in her purse. Told her she needed to give them to her. Within 10 minutes the baby quieted down. I take decongestants before flying. It opens up the ear canal enough to make a pleasant flight. But what a thoughtful idea Piper's parents had.
