Oh Kay! So sorry to hear about your day from hell!
Bounced check are not fun...do they have the horse?
In our state, the amount of the check can be up to X 10, plus the bank fees you have incurred. Can you tell that this has happened to my business a couple times???
I'm dealing with one right now, but my fees from the bank are almost equal to the amount of the check, and the lady is in her 70's.
Patches is the Diva and will do this when SHE feels like it!

Good Morning from California and I see the horse count is
still "ONE"! Frankly, I just think she enjoys being on the
cam and is using it for all it's worth.

Sharon B.----Hope everything goes well with your son
today---he would be blushing  if he heard your
description of the possible procedures and the "tools"
they needed......(too much information)

Kay----Doesn't everything "hit the fan" at the same
time. Go get that baby of the "bounced check people".
She/He is still yours. No, I'm not an attorney but like
to act like one. You can tell 'em "you were advised by an
attorney......."

Oh, yeah, let's do some more calculations on Patches
due date, Kay. Are you sure NOW is the time?????

Those Mamas seem to know when they really have a problem and they seem to ask us for "help" when they need it...but don't want it any other time.
The one cow that charged me just about broke my hand! Daughter says it is because I doubled up my fist and put it right between her eyes! (The cow, not the daughter <g>) I couldn't tell you what I did to whom since I was busy keeping my feet and planning her demise! We were in a stall, trying to get her through the chute to pull her calf ... and she was a nut, anyway.
I try to be very careful around the cattle ... watching them before I get close enough to get hurt. THe old philosophy is: more ranchers have been killed by their "tame" bull and old cows than the rangey ones, and I caution everyone ... don't trust that one you have been petting for the last however long ... don't ever trust them. THey are, after all animals, and they will do what animals do if they feel threatened.
I would have never been close enough to see the bag over its nose if she hadn't been pretty calm about my walking into the field ... as I said: had to screw up a bunch of courage to even begin to take a step to pull that bag off. It is partly a matter of attitude. My youngest brother always tagged, sexed, and pro-bio/d the new calves on some pretty rangy cows at Dad's place - - cattle that even I wouldn't have messed with alone. I don't know what he had that I don't, but he could pull it off.
Did I read where Sandpat had twins yesterday? SOrry I didn't take time to answer.. but that is WONDERFUL! COngratulations.

This person has bought so many horses from me and never had an issue until now. Thank god she just now did a wire transfer plus all the fees I was charged. I was SO STRESSED as this was a fairly large check. She still owes me another payment July 1st and I told her NO CHECKS CASH ONLY.

Geesh like I need that stress on top of everything else

Thanks for letting me vent.

Patches is finally progressing a bit since last night so I am hoping we are getting pretty close. Remember her actual date is June 12th but we thought she would go early like she did last year. Dang mares drive me nuts!

You sure it's not July 12th?
Yes, I'm running REALLY fast so you cannot catch me! lol

I sure hope she does something soon!
Only 2 more people left on the list.
If Patches goes past those dates, you are going to have to put names in a hat and pull one out.

Kay, I think you need a vacation......go here http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/21104.page

Ok, time for this girly to get to bed.
Nitey nite all!

Just looked in and saw no Patches, so I guess that means still waiting.

Any new news?
