Anyone new to this thread needs to go back and read! It's a total hoot to read all the comments. We have so many mare stare aunties here and they are all comical. They know their stuff too! Total veterans! Sue, you did a great job taking pictures! I'm just glad Patches foaled. She was looking a little bloated! LOL! And what a beauty the colt is! Love his knee-hi's!

Im hoping we got it handled. Patches was just very painful again so wasnt letting him nurse. She got a shot of banamine and is feeling much better and letting him nurse again so we hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here on. He nursed a ton after she got that shot! We had tried giving her banamine paste but she spit it out. I think the shot was just what she needed
