Default four babies

Mama decided the top of my porch light was a good place for her babies. Luckily that light needs a new bulb so doesnt come on or babies might get a little too warm. Once they hatch, we may get dive bombed every time we exit or enter the house.

They do like to make nests on lights, wonder why? Have fun watching them hatch and leave the nest.

I think you need to put up some platforms for them next year. Are they robins?

Awe! A friend's chorky was visiting on Monday and went out into the yard with our Annie dog. The next thing I knew, Gizmo has a fledgling blue jay in his mouth. His parent was squawking, he was squawking and Annie came over to join the fun. Fortunately, Gizmo brought me third and dropped it. I chased it as it flapped around the yard while my friend corralled the doggies. I finally caught it and returned it to the flower bed under the tree it had come from. Later in the day, my friend patrolled the yard, saw no birds, but low and behold, Annie found one. She gave it a nudge with her nose - she wanted to herd it! LOL. I think she thought it was a chicken my son threatened to get me for my birthday so the poor Australian Cattle Dog could do her thing! For the past couple of day, I've taken Ms. Annie out in the front to give the fledglings a chance to learn to fly. Hope all goes well for you.

what a precious picture !! That is just so cool ! I cannot wait for the hummingbirds to come back around to our neck of the woods .. Birds are so cool just to watch them in flight or sitting watching us !
