You are so wise! I am in Alberta Canada and usually I don't have a problem with snow but this year we has a beautiful fall day one day and them a snow storm the nest. Tonight it is going own to minus 24. I wish I could afford to be a Snow Bird.

From another Albertan, wasn’t that brutal to wake up to. Had to leave an hour before my medical appointment this morning just to make it there on time. Should have only taken me 15 min. for the drive; Whytemud was backed up for miles.

My Brother just went to clean off the car and truck. The windshield wiper broke off the truck and the car doors are frozen shut!! So we may be snowed in! We have no where we have to be except my DB goes bowling Thursday nights but that might not happen.
Good news I've started my Snowflake wall hanging! I am trying to make some things to brighten up this place after all the Christmas stuff comes down. I put up my Christmas stuff starting 1st of Dec and take down New years Day. The place looks so blah after.

If I send a plastic bag and pay the postage, can you just sent me some? I will be glad to send you some back when we get our own snow here!

I miss the snow. We get dustings and if we get more than an inch, you'd think we got 12 feet. Schools close, people don't go out. If a storm is coming, the grocery stores are swamped. If there is snow on the ground it's gone by noon. Don't know what the big deal is down here. I miss the north!!!!!

I visited Alabama once at March break. They has a "cold snap". The locals were bundled up like it was minus 20. I was going around with a light jacket open and got a lot of stares. Guess it is what ever you are use to.

I'd come get you but I don't have a passport. I don't think Border Patrol would let me in... :P

It's around 70 here (during the day anyway).

After living for 43 years in Upstate NY, I am now LOVING Tucson AZ. When the mountains have snow, they are beautiful to see, but that's as close as I care to be to snow these days!
