We positively are NOT having a hurricane this Friday the 13th, as opposed to Fri, Aug 13, 2006 when Hurricane Charley tore through much of southwest Florida.

What does she think of that? It makes a great date to remember! I feel sorry for those who are born on Feb 29!! They have to wait 4 years for a birthday! LOL
We got married on the 29th of February. On years there's no 29th we call it our unaversary.

This friday the 13th I get to take my middle granddaughter back to Kansas. She's the best road trip partner ever!! I'd rather road trip with her than my hubby!

My youngest son was born on the 13th...not a Friday. This Friday the 13th he will be 46. And I am glad I'm not in south Texas where he was born!

My oldest daughter will be 13 on Friday the 13th. My first teenager! I'm looking forward to it! She said she didn't even want anything because she already has everything she wants!

My mother was released from her pain and suffering on a Friday the 13th...March 13, 1987, she went to heaven after suffering for over a year with cancer and strokes.

My dad was so not superstitious, he would joke that Friday the 13th fell on a Tuesday this month...or a Wednesday, etc. Always made us chuckle.

I have loved Fri. 13th for over 34 yrs. That was the date that DH told me he loved me. Two yrs before we were married. Since that time I have always loved Fri. the 13th. It's a lucky day for me.
