Just venting at the moment. I am in process of making my ironing table and a friend was to be here this morning. No show yet. I am getting antsy as I have some errands to run, but want to do my table. I have no patience!!!!!! I want to post pictures here for you all to see. Stay tuned.

is there anything you can do while waiting? maybe get the ironing board cover ready? anything just to keep yourself busy & mind off the time? hope they show up soon

I know how you feel. I have a friend who continually tells me he is coming to help with something & then does not show when something else comes up in his schedule. I think this is quite rude, but accept that he will never change. And then, the odds are that he will show up when I'm in the middle of something else or had an errand to run.

Have you tried 'going to the bathroom' - that usually brings a knock on the front door.

I would call your friend, if she answers, tell her your going to run some errands and will be back later.
If you don't reach her, leave a note on the door. Tried reaching you. Had to run some errands

Well he did show up, took some measurements and had to get some bolts or screws or whatever! Ended up having some drain issues at his house. Tomorrow morning it is going to happen.
