I'm so sorry. I was just thinking about my beloved, and too young to go, cat who died from kidney disease the day before my bf deployed to Iraq. We're so lucky to have these sweet creatures in our lives. I just wish they would stay longer.

I can so sympath ize with you. I had to put my stinky (cat) down on friday night. With all of this snow the cars couldn't see him (he is an inside/outside cat) and he came home so injured there wasn't any other choice. I still look for him, and miss my quilting table buddy. These fur babies take a piece of your heart from the minute you look in their eyes and "they adopt you". But I wouldn't give up the opportunity to be loved by them. Hugs for you and your family, and I hope you find the space in your heart to adopt another fur baby.
