I was so excited about the project I went to Walmart today and got all the ingredients - since I have lots of trees (esp. Maple) I will be busy. Also, I think some people do that with pine cones also. Thanks for the post.

I love glitter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do glitter pinecones for the Christmas tree. Never thought of leaves!

You can add floral wire to the leaves w a bit of floral tape & put them in arangements or tuck into a pot of chrysanthemums

I guess I need to find some good leaves. Most of the trees around here are either a "cedar tree" which is really a juniper water hog or a live oak whose leaves are really small and uninteresting.

Darn, now I've got another thing to put on the "honey do" list. Plant a tree with interesting leaves.

Ok - I have collected my leaves and have placed them between pages in a book - so how long until I can apply the modge podge and glitter? I have never done this before but I like the look. Thanks for the information.

Your leaves should feel like a paper bag.Dry. Later in the season, Mother Nature does it for you!
