Good morning from Phoenix. It is about 40 here, however we are heading to our cabin to play in the snow this week end. I was told by the guy that plows our driveway we have 4 feet of snow. Sounds like a good time coming our way!:)

It started snowing yesterday. Your typical gray-clouded day, that I would rather have been home with a good book, or sewing, or anywhere rather than at work. This morning, the sun is out and glistening in little tiny sparkles all over with 9" of snow out there. I am glad that I am home today. The snow is clinging on trees, leftover flower stems and I just love looking out the window at it. Glad I didn't have to work today. Hope everyone is enjoying their day!

We woke to about a 3-4 foot drift between the house and the vehicles. Guess I will be blowing before going out this afternoon. It is still snowing and blowing, and forecast winds of 25-30 this afternoon, so DH may have to blow before I come home so I can get back in the house!!!

OH that makes me miss my home in NW Ohio. WE are wintering in Florida again this year, even after a nasty winter season down hear last year, things are not a whole lot better so far this year. The only good thing is at least we see the sun nearly every day. Not so last year. Temps usually in the mid 60's, but have had cold nights and our water did freeze in the RV once already this season. Pouring rain now, but it is so badly needed here. I have seen lakes that were full of water several years ago, that are just puddles on the ground now. I count the days though until I can return home in the spring. Why not now you say,,, if I am so miserable here.. MY DH likes to come down here in the winter. Before I retired he came without me, but can't convince him to do that now...
