Hi Ellie - it's midday here in France and a beautiful sunny day! I'm planning on doing some gardening this afternoon, although I got bit by an ant the other day and my right foot is swollen up like a balloon!

Yes, I'm putting hydrocortisone on it. I was weeding and disturbed a nest. Felt something on my foot, looked down and there was an ant. I brushed it off and a little bead of blood appeared. I didn't think anything of it and went on gardening, then that evening my foot was red, swollen and hot. If it's not better by tomorrow I'll go to the doctor. DH says I react badly to insect bites here because I'm English and the insects are French!

I'm surprised it was even interested in your blood! lol

It's 10:30pm here, and I'm thinking about packing up and going to bed. Have to wait for the electric blanket to warm up first, hubby is still at work *sigh*

They've had their Spring Half term here already. They break up on the 7th July for summer but mine go to their Dad in England for the first four weeks of the holidays - one of the advantages of being divorced! LOL

    LOL

As I posted that I thought "damn, looks like we have half kids"!! Great minds think alike... mind you, so do demented ones! lol

We have four kids, going to three different schools at the moment. Next year we'll have them at four different schools, then the year after back to three schools. It's a pain, two have school Friday and two don't. But never mind, I'll put them to work packing and cleaning, that'll teach em! ;-)
