My area of OH has had snow on the ground for weeks but not as much as it sounds like you have. Enjoy looking at it while staying warm inside.

Sunday they predicted snow all day, Well today is Tuesday and I am still waiting for it. Nope, only some snow that was left over from two weeks ago and I used a broom to sweep it off the deck. Hoa lucky we are.

I live in northern Maryland and away from the coast. That saved us because the worst snow hit Ocean City, Maryland and Lewes, Delaware and went up to Philly, New Jersey, New York and north. I thought that we were going to have a repeat of last December 2009, but winter has only started. It was 46 degrees today (12/27) and expecting 51 this Saturday. Hoping that you get the warm temperatures too.

I am at the foot of Grand Mesa, the largest flat topped mountain in the world and there is lots of snow UP THERE but none down here. We had three days of light drizzle and gloom the week before Christmas and may get some snow later this week. Believe me, I can wait.

When we woke up on Christmas morning, it was snowing and we already had a white Christmas. It snowed all day and was snowing on Sunday also. They even called to tell me they had cancelled church due to the roads. That is not the way it usually is in North Alabama but it sure was pretty.

We got the same storm a bit before you, May. It didn't drop nearly as much snow here, but 13 inches is still a lot for this far south. We usually don't see more than 4 or 5 in a winter. Good luck with the digging out - hope that plow shows up soon!

WOW The road just got plowed this morning. We have 34" this time and drifts are about 5 feet...guess the coast got it the worst. I've been having fun playing with my stash and trying to decide on next project
