Default Grandmas! 18" Doll Patterns Resource

Early this morning I stumbled on a great site for free 18" doll patterns. I have a DGD's birthday coming up next week so I will be using several of these patterns myself. Thought other Grandmas would appreciate a resource.

    http://livingadollslife.blogspot.com...r-18-inch.html (several dress patterns)

    http://www.apinchofjoy.com/2012/02/18-doll-sleeping-bag (sleeping bag)

    Enjoy!

GREAT links! Thanks so much. This will be the Christmas for 18-inch dolls for us! Granddaughter has a Journey doll (from Toys R Us) that I got her two years ago because she wasn't quite ready to take good care of a more expensive doll. This year the other grandmother is getting her an American Girl doll. So I'm getting a kitchen set and a horse from Target, and am making a few clothes. I love the directions for making tights, shoes and boots here...so cute to be able to finish out an outfit with matching items.

How timely!! I just spent most of yesterday working on doll clothes for my granddaughters. It's a slow process....but, oh, so cute. These are great sites. Will add to my favorites. THANKS

Thanks so much for the link. I love to make American Girl doll clothes. My DGD is sadly outgrowing her doll ....... but I have another DGD who is 2 1/2 so I will get the chance to make more! ;-)

I just cut out two sets of PJs and am going to start on cutting out dresses today. My DGD's birthday is next week. I am giving her a second Springfield doll from Nancy's Notions. I was able to find snow boots and cowgirl boots at Walmart for $2 that fit their brand of 18" doll. Not sure who is having more fun... Grandma or my Granddaughter!

You are welcome. I am also sewing this week for DGD. I have my own Springfield doll here so I can try clothes on 'my' doll before gifting them to her.
