Thanks, Ditter - love it! I realized I was getting older when I worked out in the yard wearing red shorts with an orange T ... and didn't care! The only comment was from DH and he's the one wearing shorts, black socks, tennies, and his floppy jungle hat to mow grass!

I like this so much I bookmarked it and will read it now & then. Also I will share it with my old friends. Life has been good & bad you learn to live with it cause it's your life.

Ditter you are one of akind. Great to see there are more of our senior ladies enjoying their lives. I lost too many good friends over the past few years, and arrived at that same stage. Keep smiling.

go ditter go girl. I am 66 and happy just the way I am. My DH turned 70. and we enjoy every day together. We laugh out loud together all the time. We've laughed thru cancers, falls broken things, too much hair, not enough hair. too fat and then fatter. We survived untimely family deaths, angry words, too much room.. not enough room, letting our DD go off to become the wonderful woman she is, Jumping in to rescue neices and sisters. being always giving, and caring. There are no regrets, or wishing for any better than I have right here and now. thanks for all your funny stories Ditter sometimes you make my day

At 65 and the last of 5, I'm 2nd oldest, I am just happy to be here, I don't know why I'm still here but, I thank God I am, I have lots of quilts I want to make. I'm on the serious side, maybe when I get older I will be able to loosen up more. DD and I can laugh about lots of things.

Well said, I am 70 and I have earned my stripes. I raised 3 children to become responsible adults, a lot of deaths in the family, I always had to be "responsible". Now I don't care who is responsible and I know for sure it isn't me. I take naps when I want to , wear my pj's all day if I want to, I am in charge of me only, what a relief that has been. I can't say I am happy about my weight, but People think I am a lot younger and I think it is because my fat fills out the wrinkles. I am taking my dream trip next summer (if I'm still here and the terrorists don't take over) and traveling where I always wanted to (England, Ireland, France, Italy and maybe more. My husband is not going, he does not like to travel. I always thought I had to travel with him, but no more. I want to go and I am going, My oldest DGD is going with me (she has been several times) and if any one else want s to go, fine, but this is my trip.

Thanks Ditter for all your jokes and your wisdom, I look for you every day.

Well, I am slipping up on 71 and thankful wrinkles don't hurt. I am glad God has all the answers, 'cause I barely understand the questions.
