The adjuster said they'll send me two offers, one if they take the car and one if I keep the car so I'll have the option to keep it if I want to.

FYI - we bought a brand new car last summer and less than 24 hours later it got hit with huge hail - $5,000 in damage - we had insurance and they just sent us the check. We got the damage fixed with one of those "hail damage" people and it only cost $1,000 - could not even tell it had any damage at all after they were done with it. They used a stromg magnet and a glue gun of all things! There were glue threads all over the car.

HTH

I'm north of Denver but most of the hail storms miss us.
I've only been caught driving in one, and that's enough!

That must have been some experience! The sound of a hail storm in a car is deafening!! Is that usual for this time of year?
Glad you are both okay!
