Happy Heart Day!!!!

After church, we had a couple of errands...Joanns for me, Menards for hubby. Then DH took me out to a really lovely Italian late lunch. Very nice...and sure won't need to make any dinner!!!! LOL

I am teaching a couple of teen girls next w/end...using the tube tute as I figure they can have a finished project to take home at the end of the day. So my trip to Joanns was pick up some funky, bright fabrics for that project. What fun!!

Today I finished March and started April in the block of the month for Bunnyhill 2009. I am two sets slightly different so I can have one wall hanging and my little sister can have one too. It is a feel good kind of thing for me. I have a pot of spaghetti on the stove simmering and will spend a peaceful evening home with the one I love. He will be too pooped out from working to notice! (sigh thank heaven for sewing machines).

I spent the morning alone as DH volunteered to work at the hospital today. He brought home take-out for a late lunch and we've been watching the Olympic coverage!

As some of you may remember I am making American Girl doll clothing and my sweet hubby ordered one of the Canadian versions for me as my Valentine gift. She is still in the postal system somewhere! But here's the one he ordered!

We already had Valentine's Day here. It's now Monday.
We had a bbq with some of the contractors that are working on the ship. Some wanted to call their families, so we left them alone in the livingroom so they would have some privacy to talk. The rest of us were on the balcony just chit chatting away. We have free long distance on our phone, so it's nice when people visit, they don't have to waste their cell phone minutes to call home.
We had a nice time, food was good, so was the company.
