The way I look at things is this: If you didn't get this education because you're older, you'd still be older but not have the education. So glad you 'went for it' and are successful.

good for you. love to hear these kind of stories. you must be so proud of yourself. i am. hang in there, they really do need people who arent so young you feel like you are talking to one of your own kids. :lol:

Congratulations! And, yes, that article will be the best resume you could ever have! I, too, returned to school late in life to get a degree in social work. A columnist from the local paper was looking for someone to interview on "why someone would go into a notoriously low-paying job like social work." He happened to ask one of my professors who suggested he ask ME! a couple of months later while I was waiting my turn for an interview at an agency, I picked up their monthly newsletter and there was the article! Yes, I was hired and 18 months later when I was being promoted, my supervisor put a copy of the article on my desk with a note congratulating me and saying "Look how far you have come!"
