I have been making quilts for over 20 yrs and have given many many qults away. However my house has wallhangings and quilts in almost every room. On the couches, on the beds on a quilt rack. Thats what I do. And the threads are around to prove it. LOL

You won't see any quilts at my house either. I have yet to make one to keep, but I've only been quilting going on 3 years now. Thread is a different story altogether! LOL

Oh I take that back, my DSIL gave me a great landscape quilt wallhanging that she made. That is hanging on my wall. Ohhh, again, I did hang a small practice 12" square cathedral windows I made with a bird in each of the 4 windows. I had forgotten about that!

I don't have any quilts to show. Some day I will. But for now I create and share as a gift for those I love and care about. I plan to keep the Farmers Wife quilt I am working on. But when it is done who knows..it might be crying to go home with someone else. Also my husband is a careless, thoughtless slob and the animals think they have to scratch the blankets just so. I would not have a quilt where they (husband included) could get to them. Maybe on a wall or in my sewing room someday.

I proudly display a quilt that I made, when we put a lot of work and time into it, we should all be proud of our work!

Yep exactly the same which is why I am always telling Muffin of for making so much mess, I don't think

And as for showing off my quilts I can't help it as they are everywhere doing a great job, as a Table cover, Sofa cover, wall hangings, on my bed and on Muffins as well, of course.

Oh I have to add to this thread... when one poster said she noticed thread on her hubby at church...(he is the Pastor ha ha ha) and another said she has had thread pulled off her at church. Well today hubby was putting the dishes away from the dishwasher... he comes out and asks me... are you using the dishwasher to prewash your fabric now?? In the silverware holder was some thread.. oh so funny...
