AND - the white cat will pick out the dark fabric, and the dark cat will pick out the light fabric. Also, ferrets will take the rubberize buttons off sewing machine.

So sweet! Isn't it wonderful that they always want to be near us! Ok, sometimes it's a pain, but they can always make you feel good. :)

I just hate that you can't stay mad because they are just too cute to be mad at.

*sigh* I know what you mean. They do love to "help" us quilt, don't they? I hand quilt and mine likes to curl up inside my hoop any time he or she gets a chance. They both do it. But~~ I sometimes wonder what we did for fun before cats.. well, we did have a grandson, and that is how we came to have cats. Your kitty is so pretty. :)

Make the kitty a lttle squishy quilt with a sprinkle of catnip iside a couple of places in the seams. Put it on a sofa, or other favored place you both will like and see if that works.
Just remember to replace the catnip after you wash it.

What a cutie. My Mom had a cat she called Funny Face. That cat wouldn't even be anywhere in sight, but when Mom sat down to hand quilt, Funny Face was right up there on the quilt. Mom made the cat a little quilt, laid a piece of plywood across one end of the frame and covered it with the little quilt. After a couple of days of Mom teaching the cat she could only be on her own quilt, the problem was solved.
