Question Help with jar pin cushions:

I am planning on make pin cushions for my quilting group & am using jelly jars with padding on the lid top, with extra decorations on the jar. What would you use for the padding on the lid? Some say batting, others said chore girls. Have any of you done this & if so, what did you use. Thanks & Merry Christmas to all.

I used batting on mine. It worked really well. A word of caution, be careful and try not to get too much fabric wrapped under the lid or the ring won't tighten on the jar.

I used fiberfill and yes be careful with the lid- I had my glue to close to the edge- today I went and bought new lids to remake some ....

I used cotton balls, fun project. I have it in my travel sewing bag and store the bobbins and thread I'll be using inside.
