Help me please

Take a look at all the ISO in the classified section. That way, if you see any of the fabric people are looking for, you'll know that you can sell it on the board and get your money back.

As I was reading your post found myself laughing. This is the type of ad that will be posted when I leave this world. My daughter has no idea of the value of my quilting/sewing stuff. For insurances purposes I did an evaulation of replacement costs. Talk about shock!! I can see it now. Ad running in free cycle or craig's list, garage sale, etc. and later in the day, post on Quilting board about how someone on quilting board made a purchase and received a great deal.

My concern was my already existing mountain of fabric and the practically of getting more. Luckily one of my daughters and my step daughter both like fabric so it is likely the fabric will continue to have a home if something happens to me.
I am going to take a peek and take a limited fund. That will hopefully keep me from going overboard.

Please tell me why I should or shouldn't go and take a peek?

There is no reason why you shouldn't go. I have had no problems myself when responding to CL ads. Take a friend and play it safe. Also, take cash and post pics if you find a great source for your stash!!
