Default help needed on a return

sorry but I'm old and returns are usually easy. Amazon. i normally get a return label and print it out. take to UPS office and drop off. easy peasy. This time they only tell me to Scan a label. I don't that kind of thing, nor want to. Their chat is unhelpful.
anyone know if i did anything wrong? I've gone back and forth but cannot seem to get the label as I usually do. most frustrating.

Those of us who are NOT into having a cell phone attached to our body at all times--it is becoming more difficult to make things work for us.
I had to get a cell phone to text my family and stay in touch if I have an emergency.

Do you have a cell phone to take a picture of the funny square that is on your computer screen? Then take the phone to UPS and show them the photo. That worked for me, and I no longer have to print anything.

Amazon sends me an email with the scanner square. I show the email to the UP person and they scan it. Easy. Don't need to take a picture or print. And don't need a box or package. Did you know all the returns to Amazon are tossed in big boxes and when full they are sealed and sold by the pallet. You can watch the unboxing of these on you tube that people buy.

I just take of pic of that square and take my item to Whole Foods, which has an Amazon return. It's easier than printing out a label for me.

No, it doesn't. But all you need is the square. Just take a pic of it and you're all set. Then take it to wherever you drop off your item.
Hope this helps!

What a great thread! I didn't know I could do any of these things. I would have just made my kid do it.

All great info! Thanks for posting.
