I been studying the pictures on that site. And I think it would be easy to make.I'll make 2 upright poles connected to the back of the chair either with bolts through the holes,or u-bolts,as I want it beefy so the wind wouldn't snap it off or blow it away. Then I'll put a 3 way 45 degree angle connector at both of the back corners. Then add (4) - 3way 'T' connectors for the middle like a ladder for support for the awning part. Then put (2)regular 45 degree connectors on the front corners. Then the poles will cross between all (4)connectors.(like in the picture on the web site)I think emt is the way to go tho.As my tent poles bend too easy I think, and the pvc plastic is strong, and would work, and is light)but wouldn't hold up down here in our heat I'm afraid.Everything cooks and gets brittle. You go to pick up a 5 gal. bucket,it disenegrates in your hands.Ok,we'll get some emt,and see what we come up with.Emt shouldn't need support either as it's really strong. But will see.All I know is emt runs around $3.00 each.So is cheap. In fact.I'll measure it out tomorrow, and have them cut all the pieces out for me,as a 10 ft pole won't go in my little ford escort.{Of course you could get a couple 1 ft pieces the next size up and put these poles just on the back of the arms, then slide your frame or [emt poles]into the pipes. Then you could take it off for transport.I'm going to make ours permanent as we only use them out here.Once I get the frame together,I'll make the canopy. Will take pictures and post (hopefully) as I go.

I've looked around the net tonight and saw that all canopy's are made of PVC.So,guess we'll go with that is it is much lighter and easier to work with. And isn't like regular plastic that gets brittle.
