You can buy little cans that you punch holes in that are called ant traps. Hardware stores or maybe even wallmart. You punch the holes the ants carry it back to the nest. They work wonderful I have used them many times

I have tried Terro, and Borax. and still they keep coming back.
I appreciate any suggestions.
Try some ant houses by raid, as well as some cucumber peels! Ants hate cucumber peels!

Ants will not cross a chalk line, cinnamon or cayenne pepper. If you have some baby powder, sprinkle that around your perimeters. Ants breathe thru the thorax and the dust/powder chokes them, suffocates them.

I put something -Diazinon(sp) that I sprinkle around the outside the house. The trick is don't just put a thin line around it-make about a 5 ft. swath. I do this every spring and it has eliminated our problem.

Diazinon definitely works but I thought it had been taken off the market? It isn't something that you should use around pets or kids. But it sure does work like nothing else does, not only for ants but other pesky bugs that attack plants.
