They are so cute! I would sure want to spent my time with them instead of quilting. Maybe someday I'll get grandchildren.

now there's some adorable kids right there! What chubby cheeks...to make a grandma's whole week, and the dimples and the pretty eyes and sweet smile and mischievious grin!
I'd drop the sewing for a little play time too! :XD:

Your grandchildren are really beautiful & I suspect FULL of energy.
Take a look at my advar...that's what keeps me from quilting. I have 2,3,4, and 5 at different times or all at once. When they leave...to tired to even eat. Just relax with coffee & read the site. BUT I wouldn't trade it for anything...I have Sundays to myself.

Beautiful grandchildren, I keep telling my sons (19&17) that I would like grandkids, but also that I am happy to wait quite a while for them. We get a new great niece in July and I am so excited about her!

I remember when my children were that age.

My children were 2+ years apart. My daughter was the oldest and my son was the youngest. I use to tell my daughter that she needed to be nice to her brother because one day he would be bigger than her. (Of course she needed to be nice to him just to be nice...but I was preparing her for the fact that he would grow tall.)
"No he won't" she said. "I'll always be taller than him."

Now they are 25 and 27. She calls him her little brother because of his age. He calls her his little sister because of their heights....he is 6'3" and she is 5'7".
I had to laugh when I read your post. Mine however, are 6 and half yrs apart. DD is the oldest. She's 5' 6 my son is 6'3 too.
