I miss my time alone my DH is now retired so the only alone time that I get is to get up at the crack of dawn on my days off and that is usually only good for a couple of hours.

Even when I had 3 young kids underfoot, I enjoyed the times my husband was out of town. Still do many years later. Projects get done, the schedule goes out the window, no cooking, laundry can wait til he gets back. I love being alone. I am too busy to be lonely!

Oh, yeah! I can't wait for DH yearly fishing trip! Just wish he would take a couple more. For a few years whatever sisters & SILs could make it would go to one's cabin for a weekend every summer. No kids, no husbands, just the lake and whatever we wanted to do, when we wanted to do it. It was wonderful--no schedule. Oh, how I miss those weekends! Enjoy!
