Had the food channel on for the noise while I sewed.

I'm with you Buckyfan. I love Christmas movies. Hallmark will start theirs this coming weekend. They have some really good ones. Mrs. Miracle is one of my favorites from the great book by Debbie Macomber.

I think they should do away with Halloween. You sure don't see all this fuss about Christmas! TV is getting pretty bad..period! AND the monthly rates just keep going up and going up.

I listened to a book on CD while I cut out projects and sewed on them. My library has a great selection and I love to read so I get to do two of my favorite activities at once :)

I love the old halloween movies - 1960's or older.

No it is not something we wish to indoctrinate our children with. The druids on halloween night went from house to house demanding someone from the house for a human sacrifice. If the people of the house complied and gave them a household member(human) then the druids left a goolish jackolantern on their step to signify they had been there and no one else would bother them. Thats as they drug away their screaming victim. If the family refused they set fire to the house. Seems like something not to be celebrated.
