It has been around 95+ here now for going on two weeks; they are predicting it through next week too. We have an 8" rain deficit. All the gardens are burning up... I can't imagine the price of vegetables if this keeps up. And, I also can't imagine what our real summer is going to be like (doesn't start until June 21). Anyone in Alaska want to adopt me for the summer???

I know I'm not going to get much sympathy with everyone suffering so much from the heat but here in Oregon we've had record cold and rain. One day it got into the 70's but that is as high as it gotten. Last year was the same, we hardly had a summer. Wish we could average the temperatures and all be comfortable!

It's been in the 90's here for days, but they keep saying we haven't broken any records yet. There is a consistent strong breeze (mild wind?) that is a saver. It at least makes the shade tolerable if one must be outside.

I am dreading August. DS is getting married in last of August & it is going to be hottier than hell. It is an outdoor wedding but not till 7:30 pm so maybe it will have cooled off a little. I could just kill him. Bride wanted Nov but no it will mess with our hunting season. God forbid we mess with a man's hunting season. Hope it is a short ceramony & we can hurry & get inside in the pavallion where there is AC. HaHa he has to wear a tux & tie.
Get this DSIL's sister said they had a blizzard in North Dakota last month. When she goes back home she is gonna be so messed up after being in Texas for a month.

Finally it was beautiful here. 68 and sunny. I am hoping we are finally getting into summer. I don't even have buds on my flowering trees yet. My daffodils are still blooming. It has been the worst Spring I can remember.

I was in the basement all day yesterday because it was near 100 here.

Last night and today it's dark and raining cats and dogs and cows and sheep and only supposed to get to mid 60s.

I'm sorry you are so hot. PLEASE do not send it to Montana. Right now we are 48 and rainy. Last week we had 2 days of 80's and that is 2 days too many for me. I hate the heat. We could though use a little sunshine. I do think Mother Nature has gone crazy. This is unusual weather for Montana. We do not get this much rain and stay this cool in June. I hope she gets over her "snit" soon. There are lots of people here that DO like hot weather. Maybe they would be less crabby if they got some. I'll just turn on the AC and stay in and quilt.

Well it was 108 here yesterday and expected to be that and higher the rest of the week and into next wee, with the low in Odessa,Tx. at 100. all week next week. It will definitely be hotter than 100 here I can promise.

Hot high 90's to 100 here near Atlanta. No rain so garden and yard and flowers are suffering. Is this what the future holds?
