Thats too bad. How is the knee doing? I'm afraid we are stuck here, hubby's job is with the county and I've been working at the same place for 25 years. All in all we are blessed, as we both have our jobs and live in Michigan.

My sewing room is in the basement where it's cool, so I've been spending lots of time there. It's been so hot this summer, we've hardly used our deck. There is no shade, and my DH says putting up a latticed roof over it wouldn't really help. I say let's at least try! This weekend is supposed to be cooler, I hope they're right. I work nights in a factory, it's supposed to be air conditioned, but I think they turn it off or up (down?) when the office people leave. I'm ready for 70's!

Right here in Central California, where we get Dragon's
Breath heat in summer, this morning was 60 degrees when
I got up, during the day I wore and am still wearing a nice
sweat shirt. Last night at dusk washing my car was very
uncomfortable when i got wet, the wind drove the cold all
the way though to the bone!!

I knew it was hot when I saw the basenjis panting, they rartely pant. They are African dogs and usually lay out in the sun on 90 degree days, but not now. They were in the shade. It's funny, in the winter they lay over the heat ducts and I've even seen a pic of 2 of them scrunched together under a lamp, to get the heat from the bulb!
