Just how dirty was my house? Today, I splurged and paid to have my house cleaned. I have to say, that was the best $140 I have ever spent. Three ladies showed up at 1:30 and left at 7:15. They did not leave one speck of dirt or dust behind. You would not believe what they did. I have a four bedroom, three and a half bath house that includes a big room upstairs that is my sewing room. I kind of piled things up in the sewing room so that it would look semi-organized. They dusted everything, picked it up and put it right back down in the same place. Throughout the whole house they cleaned base boards, fans, light fixtures, blinds, inside windows, mirrors, lamps - you name it, they cleaned it. They dusted every leaf on my silk plants. I am overwhelmed in the job they did. Really, my house wasn't a pig pen but they found dirt that I didn't even know exisited. My house has never been this clean. I will certainly call them back - probably quarterly. Can you tell that I am exited?

Two bedrooms and one bath aren't being used in our house, either. But, I can't seem to keep the dust out.....

I've got so much 'stuff' everywhere I'd have to clean before I'd let the cleaners in my house!

Oh that's great!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds like money well spent. I'd do it in a heartbeat!! In fact I might pretty soon :D
I cleaned my entire house before the holidays last year and I must have spent almost a month, no kidding. If I didn't have my ipod loaded with audiobooks I would have gone nuts. But ask me if I feel like doing it again??? lol
My kids all came home and weren't sure if they were in the right house!! They loved it though, said it was so relaxing not to have stuff all over and things were really shiny :D
So happy for ya!!! :D

I have to comment on this. I agree b/c when my house is a mess my head feels just like it. I get really bugged-out it seems. Should be a motivator................ :D
