My older brother and my husband were in the Navy together. MY hubby started writing to me and we met a year later and got married a year after that in 1970. We have been married 41 years now.

The young man I was engaged to brought his best friend over for breakfast one morning. After that young man and I went our separate ways.....his best friend asked me out and 3 months later we married.

We celebrated our 38th Anniversary last June.

At his work... I was a regular customer. He had helped me with my purchases several times over a period of years and I never paid much attention. Then suddenly, he was trying harder to engage me in conversation. Then I discovered a lady at my church worked with him and she was encouraging him! lol. I'm so glad she did :-D We've been married 6 years now and I've never been happier.

We met online.

I was tired of the guys (yes dating more than one at a time and they all knew it)not being available to do fun things. I was divorced, had gotten skinny and wanted to dance and have fun...no strings attached.

Sooo I signed up on a couple dating sites and met some real bozos. Then someone finally responded that he didn't want any strings either and justed wanted to have some fun too and that he was "my man".

That was in October of 2002. We got married a year later...both of us still claim it wasn't suppose to happen and the other one "tricked" the other one.

Couldn't be happier and he is my best friend. We love each other but even better...we "like" each other too.

My 1st husband, I met at the bowling alley playing a pin ball machine. That was early 1985. We were married New Years eve of that year. I stayed with him for 21 yrs and when I left in early 2006 he commited suicide. Was not an easy road to go down with 2 kids, 18 & 19. But our motto is "CRAP HAPPENS".
Two years later I met a wonderful man who accepts me and my kids for the way we are. I married him on June 20,2009. My kids have even said mom why couldn't you have married him instead of dad! The best thing that came out of 1st marriage was my kid's. He accepts my kids as his own and has fallen in love with our grandaughter who was born January 13,2010. I feel VERY BLESSED!!!!

I met BF on yahoo personals, he said he saw my aura and on our first meeting I later learned, he was 4 hours early - he didn't want to be late. He wore suspenders and a ball cap - I got rid of the suspenders within 6 months still working on the ball cap!

I met him at a Friday night dance at the Sherry Ballroom in Boston. We've been married since 1963.
