It is so hot here that I saw an ice cream truck that had melted the other day!

In Lake Palestine Tx. , they caught a 20 lb catfish that had ticks on it!

But just this week, in Bryan Tx., a fire hydrant was seen bribing a dog.

It's so dry in Texas that the Baptists are starting to baptize by sprinkling, the Methodists are using wet-wipes, the Presbyterians are giving out rain-checks, and the Catholics are praying for the wine to turn back into water.

Now THAT's Dry!
I did here the one about the ticks on the catfish on the news report!

You have NO idea! All the above are sooo true with no end in sight. It hit 107 this week and 105 yesterday. Right now...at 4:05 in the afternoon it's a cool 101. *sigh!

A friend said he drove by a lake and the little amount of water in it was boiling.

Seriously, it is VERY, VERY hot and dry. Right now it is 108.7 on the north side of my house (in the shade)

It's hot in MN, but yesterday we had just under 5 inches of rain. Wish we could have sent some everyones way that really needs it.

I remember when I lived in OK, we used to carry wet cloths in a baggy to put on the seat belt buckle to open and close it so it would not burn us......not funny, and way too hot.
