I have seen this video lots of times and always say I'm going to try it, but always forget. Am anxious to hear of someone's results. I usually cook the skins as I LOVE them, but do remove them for salad, scalloped potatoes, etc.

Amazing!!! I seldom peel them, either, but sometimes, it's just sort of nice, and this is a GREAT tip!

I have always heard that you are suppose to place potatoes in cold water so that they get done throughout, rather from the outside in.....Large potato....15 minutes....is it done in the middle. I hope so... I will try this...looks great. Thank you for the tip.

How good is that ? My DH always tell me I waste too much when I peel potatoes. He says I make them square.

This is really great, I am going to try it the next time I want mashed potatoes or potato salad!
If you take the time to watch this, you will not only be glad you did, but you will forward this to all your daughters, sisters, moms, etc...
I haven't tried it yet, but I will! Just when you thought you knew everything about boiling potatoes ...
Neat
To all who love making potato salad but hate peeling the boiled potatoes, here is the solution for easy peeling. This will BLOW your mind. Well, we do learn something new every day.

I wish I had known about this thirty years ago. Peeling the cooked potato was the least desirable part in making a potato salad. Enjoy.

Guess what, I been thinking I'm lazy for how I prepare my mashed potatoes and my potato salads, after watching this video I don't feel bad at all about it.

I bake my potatoes in the micro then plunge them into cold water for a while, the peel comes right off just as in this video!

Try this girls, it really does work. I then mash or cube the taters for whatever I need.  MM
