Our East coast has been devastated by floods, here in the West we have had the driest winter on record....for days the temperatures have been in the high 30's and rising to 40C. Today here in Perth it's not too bad...the temp has dropped and we have had a few showers of much needed rain. It won't help the dams much, but at least it will wet the ground a bit and help the flora and fauna survive. We live in the Darling Ranges, surrounded by trees and bushland. Our biggest fear at this time of year is bushfire.

Thoughts and blessings to anyone on the East coast going through a tough time....'specially those in Rockhampton or Theodore.

Snakes...yikes! That would drive me out in any conditions...

Hope everyone is doing OK, this weather we're hearing about around the world is crazy and devastating.
