Hey, Madquilter, "Crap" is a good descriptive word. It has numerous meanings and most of us have a lot of it around. I have a lot of crap I love, and some I don't like so much. I love your shelves. I have mostly IKEA shelves in my sewing room. I love their "stuff".

    We went camping.
Every year on the 4th of July we go to our friends house. The live on the outskirts of town in Parker,CO.
They have 38 acres. What a blast. There were 9 trailers and 47 people. Fun for every age group.
Although, on the 4th, it started raining around dinner time and poured until the wee hours of the morning. (It didn't stop our teenage group from lighting their fireworks)
I am talking rain in about most of the state. It was so bad, the fireworks were held last night on the 5th in the Denver metro cities. (fireworks are banned in the city of Denver, how stupid).
Marsye, your little guy is adorable. I hope everyone else had a great time.

My son and his wife had a nice cookout on the 4th . Must have been 50 there [ kids and grown ups ]. We didn't go down until dusk , it was almost 100 here . Just too darned hot to go earlier. We had a good time until the drunk 17 yr old boy came over and showed himself ! I didn't see what happened at first but later got a little heated . My son and wife ran him off and he just kept coming back . Come to find out he didn't live nextdoor he was just visiting ! My dil got rid of him ! She went to her car and got her iron pipe ! He took one look at that and took off ! Later he had the gall to stagger back and try to apologize [ a little too late ]. We finally had a very nice fireworks show . I sure enjoyed it . I love fireworks ! I just wish that people like that would stay where they belong . Not harassing the neighbors . Annie

Quiet weekend with the dogs as hubby was haying all weekend. I had a migraine all weekend so didn't get any of the things done I had planned. Not even church. What a bummer. I think the weather triggered my migraine as it was hot, humid, rainy, thunderstorms on and off, etc. Seemed like the barometric pressure fluctuated tons. Better today but exhausted, that nap sure felt good!

I work at a popular home improvement store. I worked all weekend so everyone else could have their barbeques and parties. Thank you for your support. Now it's time for my 3 day weekend.
