Default Hummer's bath

I have a small fountain next to my slider and 2 feeders by my sliding glass door. I have 10 feeders in my yard but the ones by the slider are their favorites. I think they like to watch us as much as we like to watch them. The other night one of the decided it was bath night and spent 3 or 4 minutes swimming in the water pool at the top. I think he was actually body surfing on the water bubble at one point. I saw this once last year but this year I was able to get my camera and snap a couple of quick pictures of the little guy/girl frolicing.

Absolutely charming. We love to watch them too. I have to get what we call shepherd's hooks to put the feeders on. The cats can get up the other kind.

This is adorable. Hummers like to fly through gently sprinkling water to bathe and this set up for them is like a hummer spa. What fun to be able to watch them this close. TFS

Hmm. It seemed my hummers were late coming this spring and was thrilled when I began to see a few at the feeder, which is suspended from the gutter outside the enclosed back porch. So I cleaned the window, refilled the feeder and there are no hummers. Do you suppose the clean window is a factor or where did the little birds go?
