Ouch that hurts!! You use your thumb alot. When my dd broke hers she couldn't zip up her pants, and hair washing was fun at our house. Hopefully it heals quickly.

Hugs to you :P Hope it gets better fast. I cut a finger on my left hand with the rotary and seems like that was the finger I was always bumping. Just think, now you will learn how to do things with your left hand.

Jan, So sorry about your thumb, hope it heals quickly.

I had a hand problem awhile back and found I had trouble putting on my bras. I was lucky as it was cold wintery weather and I stayed inside most of the time braless using a tank top under my clothes - no support but it kept me warm.

Ouch. If you are right-handed, that's gonna suck for a while. Benefit is now you will be left-handed for a while - welcome to the "dark" side. :P

that is not good, heal fast so you can get back to what you love, I am always hurting myself it seems like because my brain is in other places than what I am doing at that point...

Oh, you poor thing. How big is Charlie? LOL OK, I know it's not funny, but I have this mental picture...giggle, giggle!!!
OK, will stop laughing now, what on earth do they do for a broken thumb, I know if it's a finger they can tape it to the one next to it, but the thumb...that's kinda out there on it's own! Can't imagine having to tug on upholstery material..can hubby help?

Ow, that hurts, do you have a plastic splint? A sore thumb is like a sore toe, it is a target!!! Ice today, then ice, heat. Takes awhile to heal.
