Take it with you sister....I've taken mine to a lot of places, even in our camper. It is your best friend and keeps your secrets.

You know, I realized years ago that our artistic minds do not go on vacation. I am always seeing inspiration in things I pass by on trips. Miss Penny....well her mind is going at 100 mph when we go places. We need a thumb drive to keep up with our ideas! Don't fret that you want to take your quilting equipment!! Set up a "to go" box that has some basics so you can enjoy your craft on the fly Girl. A few fat quarters, a seam ripper, maybe a Singer 221. I've laced leather on I65North and Miss Penny has cut coupons and pieced tops on I 65 South (while in the passenger seat I emphasize). It's all good. Don

I love this post! I feel our pain. Any way to visit some quilt shops while there? On our recent road trip, I made sure I got to some shops, where of course I bought stuff. I love hand embroidery, so I always take that with me on trips. Good luck!

I have been there with family and I am not a gambler. I did some shopping and did the little boat ride. I didn't take my sewing machine but that is a really good idea. Even some hand work would fix that for me. Have a good time.

Smiles to all....Thanks for the shoulder! Oh, I'm not really a hand anythinger. LOL
I understand. I don't like to gamble at all, so after the show other then hiking I would have nothing to do. Win big and buy tons of fabric when you get back.
