Hope you didn't bleed on your fabric!
Get a tetanus shot if you aren't current.

Ouch ! ! I just bought a safety glove for that reason ! Haven't done it, but afraid I will. Soak it in hot salt water, several times and if not better in 24 hours see a doc.

Well, I'm going to the doctor today for my back...a follow-up exam. I'll show it to him...BUT, it's almost healed!!! I'm a fast healer. And it looks all pink and nice...not red and infected. Thanks for the advice....and I will admit, about 2 days after it happened, I was thinking what a dummy I was for not going to doc. But I was sooooooooooo tired and it is a 60 mile rount trip to the nearest ER or Urgent Care!!!

I had this finger guard bookmarked for purchase several months ago. Haven't purchased it yet, but thought some of you may want to look at it. Don't know much about it except it looks similar to one my LQS was using. Hope this helps.

Thanks QT1...I've bookmarked it, too. It wouldn't have helped in this case....I was using a 6" ruler!!!!

Saw doc today --he said finger is doing just fine. Said I should've had stitches, but it's doing fine anyway :?

And if you haven't had a Tetnus Shot in the last ten yrs. you should get to the doctor. Hope it doesn't hurt to much.
