My boss (who is a lunatic) hunts black bear with a bow and arrow. He has gotten a couple of enormous bear. One of which hangs on his office wall (well, covers his office wall) behind his desk.

He also takes photos of them on the hunt. (He only takes one bear, so if he is there for a week, he goes out and photographs them) He has gorgeous photos of a young blond Black bear. very rare.

That's plain scary!!! We had a momma and her 2 cubs at the bottom of our driveway last year and I'm still nervous about going outside by myself!!! Always looking around and, of course, when you're outside and looking for this you have the birds and chipmunks running around in the woods making all of this noise in the leaves!! It is NOT possible that they are more scared of me than I am of them!!  Not possible!!

I'm not sure you'd want to be any closer. Beautiful shot by the way.
