She just taught us all a new place to hide our fabric from our spouses. I would never look under the china cabinet and hubby can't get down that low. What made you think to look under there?

My china cabinet is more like a hutch .... so could store LOTS of fabric under there .... though very visible!

My china cabinet is also a hutch but underneath is a small opening where someone could shove something like quilt squares and no one would ever find them without crawling around on the floor with a flashlight and looking under it. I didn't think about the storage cabinets underneath the china cabinet part of the hutch. I just pictured it in my head as really, really hidden--LOL.

Are you SURE your MIL put them there?

The reason for asking - I've gotten to the point where it is difficult to either put thing under or retrieve things from under very low things - - - -

Could your child possibly have done it?

Does your MIL frequently/usually mess with your stuff?
