My birthday is this month. So my sweet hubby got me the Wii sports console and the wii fit program. I guess I asked for it some time ago, at least thats what he said. I have to lose some of this baby fat... LOL! I will let you know how it works.

    Signed ... Chubby

Good luck, keep us updated on your progress. I say I am still trying to take off the extra pounds I put on with my babies, but since they are now 27 and 25 I really don't think this excuse is working any more ;-)

My babies are in thier 30's, so I had to give up that excuse long ago.

Red ~ congrads on the early b-day presents.

I'm 'Fluffy' not chubby OR I'm to short for my weight.

Good luck, Red. Let us know how you do (if that's not too personal)

I'm with Granny Dwynn: If I were 6'6" my weight would be perfect!!

I think that's a great gift. DH and I have talked about getting Wii for that very reason. We can do it together and have fun.

We got the Wii for Christmas, but no Fit games yet. I think I am holding out for the EA Sports Fit, instead of the Wii Fit. I love it, but don't do it often enough :-D

Well girls ... I am going to read the instructions and set it up today! Hopefully all my fat brain cells can figure it out. LOL! I am kidding of course! I am excited about starting my new exercise program. Doctor says thirty pounds should do it. I will try and keep you posted.

Thanks for all the sweet congratulations, you dear ladies.

Lucky you getting such a worthwhile gift.
Please let us know more. I have thought about it now that my back is better and was thinking during cold weather or when it get hot and muggy, this would be a good way to get in shape and stay fit.

My DH and DD when home, are couch potatoes and need something, too.

Good luck I know you can loose the weight on that game if you do it everyday. I started to then my daughter took it to her house and well, you guessed it, she hasn't returned it.

Good luck! It looks fun. However beware! My 22 year old daughter was given the kit by her boyfriend for Christmas when we had all the family staying. They settled down to try it out in the afternoon and she went through all the starting bits where you input your personal data. She became totally disillusioned because in front of a room full of people it told her she is obese and has a physical age of 30! We know she is cuddly but that seemed a bit cruel, especially when she does try to keep fit!
