With my luck the guy behind me was buying for the whole office and I'd wind up with a $200 bill. Feel bad asking how much their bill is before I offer to pay for it though.lol That makes me look cheap then. Just wanted to do something nice.
lol. Nah, I don't think it's the least bit unreasonable to ask how much it is before offering. I always do. There's been a couple times I just left a $5 and said put it on their tab. It's still something nice to do, and it leaves them wondering all day

I agree, Panera is better, but that Starbuck drive though is too easy to pass up....I have to pass it every day on my way to work. So expensive but I let myself have a treat once in a while.
