I have a helper!

My ex-husband and I would always make sure the animals were accounted for before we went to bed at night. One night we could not find the cat, we looked everywhere, I don't know what possessed me to open the refrigerator, I guess because we had exhausted all the other avenues, and there he was!! He was a grey tiger just like your Tigger too!

I guess that's why they say curiousity killed the cat! My cat stuck his head in a plastic grocery bag my son had just emptied. Unfortunately he stuck his head through the handle, so when he took off running the bag followed! That was about 6 months ago, he still jumps when he hears the crinkle of a grocery bag.

OMG, cats sure do get themselves into trouble, don't they.
I always look and see where they are before bed. They can't get to the washer & dryer because they are in the garage and the cats don't go out there. With 3 around, I have to keep an eye on them constantly.

Do be careful, though. My sister used to live with us, and she'd opened the dryer door one morning to get a work shirt out. She left the dryer door open while she went to the bathroom to put her shirt on. She saw that the shirt was wrinkled, so she tossed the shirt back into the dryer to knock the wrinkles out, started the dryer to running, and went back to the bathroom.
Luckily she noticed the dryer was making a WHUMPING sound, and she went to see what was wrong. She opened the door, and a very frazzled (but fortunately unhurt) kitty came streaking out!
I think they both learned a lesson that day ... for her to LOOK in the dryer before starting it ... and the cat learned that dryer doesn't make a good place for a nap!
