It was 1* when I did chores, but warmed up to 7* by the time I got in. Brrrrr. About 9:30 I saw the foals running around out back, so I grabbed my camera, slunk into winter garmets and ran out to try to catch them. As always, they stop once I get there. But--I caught some I really like. Oh--it's 25 now! :D I just finished the rows for a quilt, so I'm headed out to feed more hay.

(Look admin--I did good with the sizes this time, eh?? )

    Oh, Melissa--too fast, too fast.

SD--the jammies are so dense I can't curry them! I will have my hands full (of horse hair) when spring comes and the shedding begins. Oh boy.

Thank you so much for sharing your heart herd with us. Your photos are so great! I think they are better suited for the cold than I am! Their jammies look really soft.

Just look at my beautiful Rosie girl!
The pictures are just too cute, Karla.
The herd looks so content even with the cold temps.
    Keep the pictures coming.

Oh Karla, they are so beautiful! I laughed to see the icicles hanging off Mazie's nose. And I can just hear Rosie,"Tucker, don't you dare put that snowy nose on my tush!" LOL

Oh look at the little fluffsters! Maybe you could use the fluff as batting when you finally can get the curry comb through them! :-D
