Good idea! I made a new block today so I'm back to where I was before the big scorch occured. You can bet I'll pay attention from now on.

Glad it all worked out for you. I recently scorched a cross stitch project. Thought really hard really quickly and luckily was able to bleach it almost white again with bleach on a Qtip. It was being made into a Christmas ornament so most of scorched part was cut off or hidden when project fully finished.
