We set the alarm and got up at 2:00 a.m. It was very cloudy and misting and we could not see the moon. But we did notice that the sky was light, almost seemed like it was 7:00 a.m. instead of 2:00.

It's what we do as moms...support our kids. We had clouds so no seeing the eclipse for this part of IL.

Good mama -- my DH woke me up at 3:30 to watch it on tv since we were very cloudy -- interesting but I was so sleepy
