Come on folks come play. Didn't mean to make this a downer. My Butterscotch has had a great 18 years and we are celebrating her life. I was there to bring her into the world and will be there at the end. All is good

And since this is a celebration I have to go find some pictures of my best boy ever for you.
Koala Blue was bottlefed and I got him at 6 weeks old. By the time he was 6 months old we knew he was completely blind. He was such a lover boy. When it was cold weather he would sleep under covers all night long snuggled up to my neck/shoulder.
He left us 8/8/08 at age 18 and I will always miss him.

My outdoor adopted 'barn' cats who now are so tame they live on the front porch, but hide in the wellhouse during heavy rain storms or big dog visitation days.

Double-deck "bunk bed" made by the 13 year old neighbor, now resides on the front porch and is used daily!

Don't have pictures but lately I bought a new kind size pillow top bed and moved my room upstairs to the biggest room in the house. I stated noticing that when I came home at night my bed would be messed up but I had made it each night. Then I noticed the dog hairs. I have two dogs and didn't know which was to blame. This past weekend I got a new comforter set for it and was so proud of the way it looked when I put it on with all of the shams and pillows. I went out Sat night and when I came home; just on the side that I don't sleep on the comforter and sheet was pulled down; the pillows pushed aside and the sham on the floor; just like someone had been sleeping in it. This time I knew which one it was because I had locked my little americaneskimo up since she'd just had surgery that day. It was my 100lb akita. I called him upstairs and he slowly came up and poked his head around the door so I scaled him and he came in with head hung low (just typical male when they get caught). My daughter said maybe he figured that I needed to have a man sleep in my bed. My funny daughter. Now I put a gate up at the bottom of my stairs. When I had my bed downstairs the dogs never got on it so I don't know what the enticement is with this one. I orginally had satin sheets on it but they are so slippery that I took them off; so maybe when he pulled the comforter down he was looking for them.
