I Want to See YOUR Face
#42
I love this posting this morning. I love seeing all the pretty faces, even though nearly every one of you said you don't like your picture being taken. I am usually the one behind the camera for my bunch too. I'll post a pic when I can get a grandkid over here to help me. Snow days here in TN, so I guess I won't be seeing any of them today--too many play things for snow activities for them--that's a lot more fun than going to grannie's to help her post a picture.

Boston, I have a feeling you're not pining so much for Massachusetts today--even here in TN, we have enough snow to make me pine for Louisiana, where I can remember only one cold winter all my growing-up life. I never knew a real white Christmas until I grew up, and lived in Alaska when I was 23 or so.

The first picture shows me, my mother, father, and older sister at Christmas 1958 at Grandma's house, about two months before she set me on fire. (Nice scar on my butt from that.)
The second picture is me and my three beautiful nieces Heather, Mikayla, and Phoebe, taken 2012 in summer. My hair is longer now, and I am older, Mikayla has a little boy and Phoebe now has two little girls, one is a newborn (she was PG in picture but did not know it) and Heather now has her degree. I am so proud of them.
I put up both pictures so you could see I was born with crazy hair, and it never grew up. It is still as fine and soft as a baby's. My three sisters all got dad's fabulous thick hair. I got mom's, got her face too!
