Are you sure that the picture was not taken in Central Arkansas. I know I saw that poor truck on the side of the road yesterday when we were 103+.

Yeesh!

It's 104 here in the Philadelphia area, with a heat index of 118 - wait, the temp didn't change, but the heat index went *down* to 112. Mercifully, humidity is low.

I remember years ago when we lived on the coast, one day the radio announcer said the humidity was 105%, which I couldn't figure out since it wasn't raining! I think the temperature that day was 'only' 98. I've wondered if it was the heat index instead of the humidity he was referring to.
